Live from Placitas, NM, where wild horses roam around the neighborhoods around here! Below is the latest drought update and as you can see, our conditions are going from bad to worse as we wind up the month of March. While the 7day forecast gives us no relief, models continue to forecast some rain by the end of the first week of April and the CPC forecasts are predicting a better than 50/50 chance for above normal precipitation.
We will see temperatures in the upper 80’s and 90’s today and tomorrow but a weekend cool down will drop our highs to the 70’s and 80’s as a cold front moves through late on Friday.

We are staying with some friends in Placitas, NM. Wild horses roam the area and often hang out at people's backyards.
