Continued cloudy with some fog in the mornings with and temperatures in the afternoon as the sun breaks out every afternoon through Friday. On Saturday, a season front moves through in the morning and we could see a few drops of light rain in the coastal plains as the front moves through. Lows drop into the 40’s from Sunday-Monday and highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s with low humidity.

As of today, the rest of the month looks dry, but the latest long-range models are looking more bullish for rain chances entering the forecast again in early March, increasing as we get further into the month. I have posted some 45 day, long range runs from the Euro model for some selected cities. The top of the graphic shows the models getting more active as rain chances increase. The middle section tells you how much rain the models think will fall. The bottom section shows the range of total rainfall that could occur during that time frame.
