Before we start a pretty easy weather discussion, I’m going to address a couple of issues that have come up with my Facebook page. By now you know how frustrated I am with the stupid “send to messenger” bug that I have been dealing with forever and despite reaching out to Facebook and tips from you guys, remains unresolved. I am trying another tactic today, using Google Chrome as a browser to make this post and eliminating any text with the logos I post from our sponsors (one of my follower’s idea). I will also start posting a link to my weather page blog every day so that you have an option for seeing the graphics without going to messenger! If I can’t resolve this problem over time, I may just post the text and a link to my blog for the graphics. The next issue is Facebook now branding my content as containing AI. You can be absolutely assured that the only time I use AI is for attempting to entertain you guys with weather illustrations and videos. From this point forward I will not label my illustrations and videos as AI generated so that Facebook will hopefully not brand my content as AI. If you have a doubt, just ask in the comments section.
The brunt of the high pressure that has been over Texas, will drift to the west (not so good for the west) and give us a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday as a rare early August front tries to move into north Texas. With the high to our west for about a week, we could see additional rain chances for early August. This is reflected in the 6-10 CPC outlook. By the 7th or 8th of August, the Hell High will drift back over our area, sending us back to hot, humid and dry conditions once again.
Thanks!
Mark

Current heat index readings.
With high pressure over the west, a cool front will try to sneak into Texas on Sunday. We could see some wildly scattered storms.
